The Rams are hiring for a data integration architect. Some Whites fans cannot believe their eyes.
Unless you’ve been living under a rock for the past week or so, you’ll be well aware of – and probably be pretty tired of – the fallout between Leeds United and Derby County over the so-called ‘Spygate’.
On Wednesday night, a few days after the Whites’ 2-0 win over the Rams, Marcelo Bielsa gave a press conference in which he gave his reasons for having sent an individual to watch their opponents’ training session.
In the briefing, the Leeds manager outlined the reasons as to why, in having someone oversee the session, he gained no clear advantage and reiterated his belief that it failed to break any rules in place – as transcripted in full by talkSPORT.
The whole thing has continued to rumble on ad nauseum, with managers, pundits and journalists all giving their tuppence’s worth, but on Saturday, one seemingly new discovery has left some Leeds fans laughing out loud and even questioning what they had seen.
A job listing advertised on Derby’s official website says the East Midlands club is looking for “an experienced Data Integration Architect to join our Data and Football Analysis Teams”.
Yorkshire Evening Post reporter Joe Urquhart seems to have been the first to spot it following the whole ‘Spygate’ debacle and posted about it – including screenshot – on his Twitter page:
