Daniel James scored the only goal as Wales won their Euro 2020 qualifier, and Leeds United supporters were all saying a similar thing.

There may not have been too many Leeds fans who knew too much about Daniel James before his deadline day move to Elland Road fell through back in January. But there is no excuse for not knowing about the winger now.
The Yorkshire Evening Post reported at the time that the Whites were closing in on signing the Swansea City youngster on loan, while a permanent move would be completed if Marcelo Bielsa’s side were promoted out of the Championship this term.
The report adds that James completed a medical at Leeds before the Swans decided to stop taking calls from their second tier rivals, meaning the deadline passed without a move taking place.

He scored an outstanding goal in the FA Cup win against Brentford, produced a stunning display in the following round against Manchester City, and has now marked his competitive debut for Wales with the winner against Slovakia in Cardiff on Sunday.

His display was a talking point for the Leeds supporters on social media. The Whites fans are frustrated that the club did not seemingly do more to get a January move across the line, while others are imploring Andrea Radrizzani to go back in for the lightning fast 21-year-old in the summer – when he will inevitably cost a lot more money.

Here is what some of the fans made of James’ latest performance…
