Leeds United fans react to the rumour about signing Middlesbrough dud Ashley Fletcher.

Leeds United fans on Twitter haven’t reacted well about the latest rumour regarding Ashley Fletcher.
The Teeside Gazette reported on Monday that Leeds boss Paul Heckingbottom is “likely” to renew the Whites’ interest in the out-of-favour Middlesbrough striker, who cost £6.5 million last summer.
The former West Ham man joined Sunderland on a half-season loan in January but has only netted once in 14 Championship games for the now-relegated Black Cats.
Leeds’ interest in the 22-year-old dates back to Garry Monk’s spell at Elland Road, but fans of the West Yorkshire club don’t seem all that excited about the prospect of seeing him join this summer.

Here is some of the reaction:
Heckingbottom once signed Fletcher on loan for Barnsley and the prospect of another temporary move seems to have a bit more substance than previous links.
But Leeds already have their fair share of less-than-prolific strikers, so perhaps Heckingbottom and Director of Football Victor Orta should focus on recruiting a striker who they know for certain can aid United's promotion bid next term.
