The Whites’ Championship showdown with the Owls in April has been picked for Sky Sports coverage.

Leeds United have announced that April’s Championship fixture against Sheffield Wednesday at Elland Road has been moved for television coverage.

The game against the Owls will still take place on Saturday 13 April, but as it has been picked to be shown live on Sky Sports, it will now kick off at 5:30pm, rather than its initial scheduled 3pm kickoff.

Leeds have seen several of their fixtures rescheduled for live coverage this term and, as it stands, there are three which will be available on television before the end of the campaign.

After Saturday’s trip to Bristol City, Marcelo Bielsa’s charges take on Reading at the Madejski Stadium on Tuesday, 8pm kickoff, which will be available on Sky Sports.

United’s game against Wednesday’s city rivals, Sheffield United, has also been chosen for TV coverage next Saturday with the Blades’ visit to Elland Road kicking off at 12:30pm.
