Nigel Clough wants to see Luke Murphy feature for Leeds United.

Leeds United will be busy making plans for next season having ended this campaign with a 2-0 home win over Queens Park Rangers last weekend, as manager Paul Heckingbottom faces a number of big decisions.
The Whites endured a disappointing campaign after making such a strong start under Thomas Christiansen, with another bottom half finish leaving fans frustrated.
After a string of poor signings by director of football Victor Orta, Leeds must now offload a number of players this summer – and one player who is in limbo is Luke Murphy.
Signed from Crewe Alexandra in 2013, Murphy arrived at Elland Road as a talented young midfielder touted for a big future, but he has struggled to live up to that billing with Leeds.

Murphy has spent the last 18 months on loan at Burton Albion, but with the Brewers relegated to League One, a permanent move looks almost impossible.
Now, Albion boss Nigel Clough has told the Burton Mail that he thinks Murphy should have a future with Leeds, and will tell manager Heckingbottom to use the 28-year-old next season rather than offload him.
Leeds fans have been taking to Twitter to give their reaction to Clough’s comments, with many suggesting that Murphy should be nowhere near the Leeds side next term as he simply isn’t good enough, with one fan claiming he would even be upset if Murphy returns.
Others feel that Murphy may be a late bloomer and could still have something to offer at Elland Road, but the general consensus is that Leeds need better.
