Leeds extended their lead to three points at the top of the league, keeping up their unbeaten record.
Leeds lost to Preston in the Carabao Cup, a game in which Saiz did not start.
In last night’s league game he was influential, touching the ball 62 times.
Saiz created four goalscoring chances, with the only downside to his performance being his own finishing.
The Spaniard had two shots at goal, which missed the target, and is yet to score in the league this season.
Even despite his lack of goals he has been massively influential, and has stepped up particularly in recent games with teammate Pablo Hernandez out injured.
Saiz is in his second season at Leeds after signing from Huesca for around £3 million a year ago, which looks like a bargain.
