Leeds fans have taken to Twitter to slam a number of their players’ performances in their goalless draw with Hull City on Tuesday, and one of the players who seemingly attracted amongst the most criticism was Ronaldo Vieira.

The Whites struggled to make an impression on the game at the KCOM Stadium and had Felix Wiedwald to thank for keeping the visitors in the fixture as the stopper made a number of hugely impressive saves throughout the contest.

Leeds failed to put a single shot on target during the 90 minutes, and while that was partially down to some disappointing attempts on goal, there was also some very poor service coming from the midfield, and Vieira was one of the players whose performance in the middle of the park came in for criticism.

The academy graduate was a player who the fans were crying out for to play more often at the start of the season, but it could be argued that he is now keeping his place in the team largely due to the injuries and suspensions that are currently plaguing Thomas Christiansen’s squad.

And the fans have taken to social media to criticise the 19-year-old’s display in the underwhelming draw against the relegation-threatened side, and it seems that many would not be particularly disappointed if he was taken out of the starting lineup for the clash with Cardiff City at the weekend.
