Leeds midfielder Romario Vieira impressed in action for the under-23s.
Ronaldo Vieira continues to star for Leeds United’s first team, but fans are still waiting for his twin brother to make a similar impact.
The equally extravagantly named Romario Vieira is a part of the under-23 team, and yesterday he took a big step forward, scoring his first goal in a Leeds shirt.
It came in a 4-3 win over Hull City, an impressive attacking display from Carlos Corberan’s side.
Romario Vieira’s shot came from outside the box, with the midfielder scoring his first for the club in spectacular fashion.
Romario came through the local i2i Academy like his brother, and he was congratulated on his goal via their Twitter account, with his old coaches in the stands to see his strike first hand.
The game was eventful, with new Leeds additions Oliver Sarkic and Kamil Miazek having very different afternoons.
Both players’ moves to the club were formalised yesterday, and Sarkic got on the scoresheet with a penalty.

Goalkeeper Miazek was more unfortunate, giving away a penalty and getting sent off for two bookable offences.
Romario Vieira’s display was certainly a bright spot, and a positive step forward in his career.
Here is a look at how Leeds fans reacted on Twitter to his performance
