The Whites forward has seen little game time this season and, following Rob Price’s update on the player, it’s no surprise.

Leeds United’s head of medicine and performance has shed some light on Patrick Bamford’s injury woes over the past few months.
The 25-year-old, signed from Championship rivals Middlesbrough last summer for a transfer fee reported by the Yorkshire Evening Post as £7million, has barely featured this season.
According to Transfermarkt, Bamford has played just 82 minutes of league action this term, and 252 minutes overall including his two Carabao Cup appearances.
The Whites forward damaged ligaments in his knee in early September whilst playing for the United development squad before making his return at Bolton last month and scoring the winner.
However, Bamford was then sidelined again after picking up another injury in training, with not much information divulged over this second setback until now.
Rob Price spoke to the official Leeds website and gave a comprehensive update on several players, including Stuart Dallas, Barry Douglas, Gaetano Berardi and Izzy Brown.

When moving onto Bamford, Price confirmed that he is back in training with the coaching staff outside and back with the team, before going into detail about exactly what happened.
“His injury again was a little bit of a freak one – one of the players fell on him in a training session just before the Aston Villa game where his knee got caught underneath him and twisted,” he said.
“Again, the injury he suffered previously, his PCL stayed intact and he didn’t damage that, but he did tear another ligament in his knee and the capsule at the back, so we have had to allow that to settle and then build him back up again outside.”
Some Whites fans took to Twitter after learning of Bamford’s woes and expressed their thoughts:
