Leeds boss Garry Monk gave all six of his summer signings a run-out and there were contrasting fortunes for the new additions.
Kemar Roofe looked a class act throughout and will surely become a fan favourite at Elland Road in no time, while fellow forward Marcus Antonsson continued to impress with his work rate despite missing two good opportunities to find the net.
Further back, loan signing Matt Grimes did his best to make an impact in the centre of the park but his performance attracted a mixed response from fans who were at the game.
The 21-year-old is set to play a vital role for Leeds next season following Lewis Cook’s move to Bournemouth and at his best he has what it takes to ease the blow of that controversial departure.
