Leeds United’s fans are seriously excited about Mateusz Bogusz’s potential after his latest performance.

A number of Leeds fans have taken to Twitter to comment on Mateusz Bogusz’s performance during the Whites’ under-23 side’s stunning 3-0 victory away at Watford on Monday.
Goals from Izzy Brown, Pascal Struijk and Kun Temenuzhkov gave Carlos Corberan’s side an important win that has strengthened their position at the top of the Professional Development League northern section.
He may not have got on the scoresheet, but Bogusz’s display certainly left plenty of supporters drooling on social media. The Polish attacking midfielder constantly looked to be a threat and nearly rounded off a superb move with a second-half goal – but unfortunately, he ended up hitting the post.
Bogusz only arrived at Thorp Arch during the January transfer window – he was one of just two additions during the month, along with Kiko Casilla – but he is already making a big impact for Corberan’s men.

Bielsa has only tended to use the under-23 squad when he has had injuries to deal with – of which, there have been many – and every one of Leeds’s remaining games could be vital to their promotion chances. So the fact that Bogusz is being tipped for a senior chance in the near future says a lot about how impressive he has been.

Here is what some of the supporters made of the 17-year-old’s latest display…
