Mateusz Bogusz of Poland takes a shot on goal during UEFA Under-17 Championship Elite Round Group 3 match between Poland and Republic of Ireland on March 27, 2018 in Legnica, Poland.

Leeds fans have taken to Twitter to comment on Mateusz Bogusz’s performance as the youngster made his debut for the Whites’ under-23 side on Friday night.

Bogusz was one of just two January signings for the Championship high-flyers. But unlike fellow new arrival Kiko Casilla, he has had to bide his time before making his first appearance for the club.

But the Elland Road faithful got their first glimpse of the 17-year-old on Friday as Carlos Corberan named the Poland under-19 international in his lineup for the clash against Nottingham Forest.

It ended up being a good night for Leeds who came from 2-0 down to earn a 2-2 draw. And like the rest of the side, Bogusz certainly seemed to get a lot better as the game went on.

A number of supporters suggested that Leeds look to have pulled off a fantastic deal for Bogusz as they believe that he boasts some serious potential. And there were even some suggestions that he may not be too far from the first-team picture with Marcelo Bielsa’s side struggling to fill the number 10 role right now.
