Mateusz Bogusz played just under half an hour as Leeds United suffered a disappointing pre-season defeat.

A number of Leeds fans on Twitter have praised Mateusz Bogusz after the youngster put in a bright display during the Whites’ disappointing pre-season defeat in Australia on Wednesday.
Marcelo Bielsa’s men were comfortably beaten by Manchester United, with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side winning 4-0 in Perth. Leeds put out a strong side, but were unable to make a statement against their Premier League opponents.
Despite the scoreline, there were some bright points for Bielsa’s side to take. And one of those arguably came from Bogusz, who came on for Patrick Bamford shortly after the hour-mark in Western Australia.
The 17-year-old – who joined Leeds during the January transfer window at the start of the year – looked extremely bright and did cause a few problems for the Manchester United defenders.

And while the Leeds fans did have little to smile about following the defeat, plenty took to social media to laud the Poland under-20 international’s cameo.
It would appear that several of the Elland Road faithful not only want to see the teenager quickly make his senior debut at the start of next season, but also secure a prominent role in the side as they believe that they have a special talent on their hands.

Here is what some of the Leeds fans made of Bogusz’s display Down Under…
