Leeds United loanee Mallik Wilks continues to enjoy a productive spell in League One.

A number of Leeds fans have taken to Twitter to comment after Mallik Wilks ended his goal drought in some style during Doncaster’s emphatic victory over Walsall on Saturday.
Wilks made a blistering start to life at the Keepmoat Stadium following his switch from the Whites, scoring three goals in his opening three games for Donny.
But the Leeds youngster then endured a run of six games without a goal, which put a bit of pressure on the striker’s shoulders heading into the game with the Saddlers this weekend. But any pressure was responded to in the perfect manner.
Wilks scored a brilliant goal in the 4-1 victory, and his thunderous finish did not escape the attention of some Leeds fans, who are having to watch their side go through something of a striker crisis right now.

Patrick Bamford has been ruled out for several months, while Kemar Roofe is also on the sidelines at the moment. Tyler Roberts led the line in his first Championship start for the club at the weekend, but Marcelo Bielsa does not have many other options to pick from.
And following Wilks’ latest goal, several fans hinted that the academy graduate is perhaps doing an excellent job of proving a point to Bielsa ahead of his return to Elland Road in January.

Here is the best of the reaction to Wilks’ goal…
