Leeds United take a narrow advantage into the second-leg of the Championship play-off final.

Several Leeds fans are adamant that Jamie Shackleton should start the second-leg of the play-off semi-final against Derby on Wednesday after the youngster produced an outstanding performance at Pride Park on Saturday.
Shackleton was named on the bench against the Rams. But he was needed early on as Adam Forshaw sustained an injury during the first-half.
The 19-year-old has stepped up whenever Marcelo Bielsa has turned to him this season – regardless of which position he has ended up in – so it was no surprise that he dealt with the situation superbly and settled into his midfield role extremely well.
And he produced the kind of performance that has left some Whites supporters wondering why he has not been involved more often throughout the campaign. He was everywhere as Leeds won 1-0 to take a narrow lead into the second-leg at Elland Road this week.

His energy saw him make an impact at both ends of the pitch, and there are plenty of fans suggesting that he must start on Wednesday regardless of whether Forshaw is fit or not.
Shackleton does not look as though he will be overawed by the occasion, and it is clear that many supporters are now more excited about his potential than they have been over Jack Clarke’s, which is saying a lot given how impressive the winger has been since making his senior debut earlier this season.

Here is what some of the fans made of Shackleton’s display at Derby…
