Leeds United concluded their pre-season tour with a narrow victory, but Jack Harrison did impress the supporters.

A number of Leeds United fans have taken to Twitter to laud Jack Harrison’s performance after the Whites rounded off their pre-season tour in Australia with a 2-1 win against Western Sydney Wanderers.
Marcelo Bielsa’s men bounced back from their heavy defeat in their first game of the tour, but needed a stunning solo run from Pablo Hernandez at the very end of stoppage-time to see off the A-League side in the opening game at Bankwest Stadium.
It was Mateusz Bogusz who secured a place in history by scoring the stadium’s first goal as he produced an outstanding finish during the early stages of the content. And it was Harrison who provided the assist after some smart work down the left flank.
Harrison was given a lot of space, but only after a nice change of pace had taken him past his opponent. He then showed plenty of composure to cut the ball back for Bogusz, who curled a brilliant effort into the top corner.

The Manchester City-owned winger should have had another assist for Patrick Bamford later on. But despite that, it was another encouraging performance from the wide-man in what has arguably been a very impressive pre-season.
Harrison returned to Elland Road with a real point to prove after a mixed first campaign with the Whites. Bielsa had shown enormous faith in the 22-year-old, but he had arguably only provided glimpses of his quality as Leeds came agonisingly close to sealing promotion.

Bringing the youngster back on loan seemed like a good piece of business from Leeds, but hardly captured the imagination in the same way that Helder Costa’s arrival did soon after. But based on his showings so far this summer, there are now a lot more fans feeling extremely excited about the impact that he could make during the coming campaign.
Here is how some of the fans reacted to Harrison’s latest display…
