Jack Clarke was hugely impressive as Leeds United drew their latest under-23 game.

A number of Leeds fans have taken to Twitter to laud Jack Clarke’s display during the under-23 side’s 1-1 draw with Queens Park Rangers on Monday, with many suggesting that it is a matter of time before he is in the first-team fold at Elland Road.
It is no secret that Clarke is one of the most exciting prospects currently coming through with the Whites. The winger appears to have been on the periphery of the first-team for a while now, and it has probably actually been more of a surprise that the 17-year-old is yet to make his senior bow.
In fact, it may have disappointed some fans when it was confirmed that he was in the under-23 squad for their clash with Rangers on Monday night with Marcelo Bielsa’s first-team gearing up for a Carabao Cup clash with Preston North End on Tuesday.
But Clarke made the most of the opportunity to shine. The teenager looked to be at his best, causing a huge amount of problems for the opposition full-backs and creating Leeds’ goal on what ultimately proved to be a frustrating night for the Whites as they conceded a stoppage-time equaliser.

Bielsa has shown that he is not completely against the idea of handing under-23 players the chance to make the bench for the following first-team clash, even if the games are around 24 hours apart – and it appears that some fans are hoping that Clarke may be handed an opportunity to step up on Tuesday.
The supporters are clearly excited about Clarke’s potential, and hope that he soon gets that chance to shine in senior football, whether that be at Leeds or out on loan.

Here is the best of the reaction to his display…
