Leeds United picked up another win in the Championship as they won 1-0 to move within one point of the top six.

Leeds fans have been heaping praise upon Felix Wiedwald after the goalkeeper’s performance in their narrow victory over Norwich City that moves them to the verge of the play-off places in the Championship.
Wiedwald has come in for a lot of criticism since his summer arrival from Werder Bremen – despite keeping six clean sheets in his first seven games for the Whites.

After returning to the side having been dropped earlier in the season, it appeared that the 27-year-old may have possibly begun to turn a corner at Leeds, but questions were once again raised during the win over Queens Park Rangers last week when the home side’s goal came from a mistake from the stopper.
However, he largely responded in brilliant fashion at Elland Road this weekend, helping Leeds secure a 1-0 win over Norwich to move themselves within one point of the top six.

The German made a number of important saves during the contest, and his distribution received a lot of praise from the supporters on social media after the game.
The general consensus appears to be that there is real optimism regarding Wiedwald’s prospects of establishing himself as a stalwart of the side if his performance against the Canaries – and his general form in recent times – is a sign of things to come.
Here is the best of the reaction…
