Leeds United fans checked out Ezgjan Alioski in action for Macedonia.
Ezgjan Alioski has quickly made a name for himself at Leeds United and is becoming a real fan favourite.
So much so that Whites fans took a genuine interest in Macedonia’s World Cup qualifier against Albania last night, just so they could see him in action.
Alioski played on both flanks in the 1-1 draw and came close to getting on the scoresheet.
The big news from Leeds’ perspective was that Alioski came through the encounter without injury, and should be available to start the club’s game against Burton Albion on Saturday.
The winger has been a real livewire so far since joining from Lugano, and scored in the recent win over Nottingham Forest.
His hopes of going to the World Cup with Macedonia next year through appear already to be over, with his country having accrued just seven points, in a group so far dominated by Spain and Italy.
It says a lot about his early impact and exciting style of play that Leeds fans are so fascinated with his performances and so keen to check him out in action whenever they can.
