Leeds United have released details and a trailer about the Whites’ 2018-19 campaign, in which Elland Road came close to Premier League promotion.

A number of Leeds United fans have taken to Twitter to comment on the Elland Road club releasing a trailer for their upcoming fly-on-the-wall documentary based on the 2018-19 season (official Leeds website).
Set to be released on Amazon Prime in August, “Take Us Home: Leeds United” will feature exclusive behind-the-scenes footage of the campaign just gone, in which Marcelo Bielsa took the Whites to the brink of Premier League promotion.
Local production company The City Talking – with production in partnership with Eleven Studios – captured footage over the course of the 2018-19 season which ranges from sit-down interviews to matchday preparation.
The so-called “Spygate” scandal is also chronicled, while Bielsa has his first sit-down one-on-one interview for 20 years as he reminisces about the campaign in full, and famous Hollywood actor Russell Crowe – a Leeds fan – narrates the docu-series.
Here is what some Leeds fans on social media said about the club’s announcement:
Leeds get their 2019-20 season under way on 4 August with a trip to Bristol City before hosting Nottingham Forest the following week in the first Elland Road league game of the campaign.
