A number of Leeds fans have taken to Twitter to express their excitement following reports from The Sun on Sunday (13/1; page 59) that have suggested that the Whites are plotting a potential move for Daniel James.
Having possibly expected a quiet January at Elland Road, a few plates are starting to be spun behind the scenes it seems. The Yorkshire Evening Post reports that Real Madrid goalkeeper Kiko Casilla is closing in on a move, and he may not be the only addition this month.
Both The Sun on Sunday (13/1; page 59) and the Yorkshire Evening Post have suggested that Leeds are interested in the Swansea winger, with the former reporting that the Championship leaders are eyeing a £2.5 million bid for the 21-year-old.
Despite the cluster of exciting wide options available to Marcelo Bielsa right now, there are plenty of Leeds supporters on social media who are excited about the prospect of signing the Swans starlet.
James has provided three Championship assists this term. And while many are looking at him as one for the future, they believe that this could prove to be an inspired signing.
In fact, some have suggested that if Leeds can get deals across the line for Casilla, James and a number 10, it would have to be considered an almost flawless window for the league leaders.
