Pressure on Middlesbrough boss Garry Monk is building… and Leeds fans are loving it.

Middlesbrough suffered another Championship defeat this weekend, losing 2-1 against Bristol City.
They were second best throughout, going two goals down and only clawing back into it through an own goal.
The loss puts pressure on manager Garry Monk, who took over the team in the summer with the expectations they would challenge for automatic promotion.
Instead of sitting in the top two, Middlesbrough are in ninth place – six points off the play-offs.

The team have won just eight of 20 Championship games, and their poor performance caught the eye of Middlesbrough born comedian Bob Mortimer.
Mortimer took to Twitter after the defeat, suggesting that the team’s performance suggested the players had given up on manager Garry Monk.
Mortimer’s comment prompted some amusement of Leeds United fans, who were upset by Monk in the summer when he quit the club, and later took over as Middlesbrough boss.
Leeds are even one point ahead of Middlesbrough at this stage, and beat them a fortnight ago at Elland Road.
While the inconsistency of Monk’s men is amusing to Leeds fans, it is no laughing matter for Middlesbrough supporters.
Boro fans are concerned, having entered the season with high hopes, and are worried whether Monk is the right man for the job, and if not… who is?
