Former Leeds United striker Chris Wood endeared himself to supporters once again.

Chris Wood may have disappointed a lot of Leeds supporters over the manner in which he left the club in 2017, but he appears to have endeared himself to the Elland Road faithful again somewhat with his latest goal.
It was a decision that angered a lot of supporters. While losing their star striker was a possibility that many of the fans had come to terms with, the apparent refusal to play upset plenty.
But with Leeds now thriving, it appears that it is probably easier for the fans to forgive, or at least move past, Wood’s actions. And he has certainly helped his situation by scoring against Manchester United on Tuesday night.

Sean Dyche’s men took a surprise 2-0 lead at Old Trafford, with Wood heading the Clarets’ second in the 81st minute to seemingly hand the visitors the three points. However, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s men produced a comeback to earn a 2-2 draw.
It has ended their winning run under their new manager, and plenty of Leeds supporters on social media were clearly delighted to see Wood contribute with a goal.

Here is how some of the Leeds fans reacted to Wood’s goal…
