Leeds United are reportedly interested in loaning Ben White from Brighton and Hove Albion next season.

A number of Leeds fans have taken to Twitter to react to reports from the Yorkshire Evening Post this week which suggested that the Whites are interested in loaning Ben White from Brighton this summer.
Marcelo Bielsa’s side are still awaiting their first signing of the window as they look to build on the promise that they showed during the Argentinian’s first season at Elland Road.
The Yorkshire Evening Post reported this week that Leeds have their eye on loan deals for both Helder Costa at Wolves and Brighton youngster White, who spent this past season on loan with Peterborough United in League One.
While the links with Costa left a number of supporters feeling excited, the interest in White appears to have received a much more lukewarm reaction.

The 21-year-old is yet to play in the Championship and has only made a handful of appearances for Brighton’s first-team. With that in mind, there are concerns that he may not be ready to push the likes of Pontus Jansson and Liam Cooper for a place in the side.
He appears to be the kind of talent that would be an incredibly popular addition if there was a permanent move being discussed. But a loan deal will put the pressure on White to make a big impact in a much shorter space of time, and the fans fear that he may prove as underwhelming a signing as Matthew Pennington had been.

Here is what the supporters made of the reports…
