The Leeds winger did not feature in Northern Ireland’s defeat to Germany and is now doubtful for the weekend.
Leeds United fans have taken to Twitter to discuss the injury that has left Stuart Dallas doubtful for the Whites’ clash for Derby County this weekend.
Stuart Dallas picked up an injury on international duty
The winger missed Northern Ireland’s World Cup qualifying defeat to Germany after sustaining a calf injury, the Yorkshire Evening Post reports, and now needs to be assessed ahead of the resumption of the Championship campaign to see whether he is fit enough to feature against the Rams.
The news has understandably received a mixed reaction on social media. The 25-year-old enjoyed a promising first season at Elland Road and his performances in recent weeks have been encouraging, especially as his partnership with Charlie Taylor on the left flank has blossomed.

However, he made a lacklustre start to the current campaign – Garry Monk put his early form down to the eventful summer the former Brentford man had enjoyed (via Yorkshire Evening Post) – and despite his better performances of late, he is still yet to contribute a goal or assist in the league this term.
And with the Whites boasting more depth on the wings than they have done since their relegation from the top flight 12 years ago, he may not be as missed as he would have been last season.

In fact, some supporters have responded to the news by suggesting that Dallas’ absence should be an opportunity for Kemar Roofe or Alex Mowatt to show what they can do.
