Leeds fans have been reacting on Twitter to the news that was confirmed on the club’s official website that Stuart Dallas has signed a new three-year deal at Elland Road.

It has certainly been a busy summer for the Whites, with a considerable number of changes taking place at almost every level throughout the club.

One of the main strategies Andrea Radrizzani has adopted since taking over has been agreeing long-term contracts, with a number of the first-team squad putting pen to paper in recent months.

And the club’s official website has confirmed that Dallas has become the seventh player to extend his contract this summer, with the Northern Irishman signing a new three-year deal.

The news has been met with an extremely positive reaction amongst the fans on social media, especially as it comes just days after the Yorkshire Post suggested that Norwich City were keen on signing the 26-year-old who had begun the final year of his previous contract.

Dallas may not have grabbed many of the headlines this term, but there is no question that he is a valuable member of Thomas Christiansen’s squad, capable of contributing going forward or providing the full-back behind him with plenty of defensive support.

And while many supporters have expressed their delight at the deal, they have now urged Radrizzani to keep going extending the contracts of Leeds’ important players – with one player in particular being suggested for the next new deal.

Luke Ayling has been a revelation since arriving last summer, and several of the fans have suggested that the right-back deserves to be the eighth first-team player to be handed a new contract.

Here is the best of the reaction…
