Leeds fans have been expressing their disappointment on Twitter after Stuart Dallas had to be taken off during Northern Ireland’s World Cup qualifying play-off first-leg tie with Switzerland at Windsor Park.

Dallas looked bright in the game for Michael O’Neill’s men, making a couple of good runs early on, but he was brought down inside the first five minutes after a horrendous challenge from Fabian Schar which resulted in a yellow card for the Swiss.

The winger continued to impress once he got back up and running, but his involvement in the game ended just seven minutes into the second-half with the 26-year-old limping off and being replaced by Jamie Ward.

Though Dallas has not featured regularly under Thomas Christiansen, his apparent injury in the game has created plenty of concern amongst the Leeds fans on social media.

Unfortunately, it now appears that Leeds may have to wait nervously to find out whether Dallas will be available for the clash with Middlesbrough next weekend.
