Leeds United fans have been discussing the news that Swansea City winger Mo Barrow is closing in on a move to Reading.
Leeds fans have been reacting on Twitter to the news from Sky Sports that Reading have agreed a £1.25 million with Swansea City for winger Mo Barrow.
According to Sky Sports, Barrow will now discuss personal terms with the Royals ahead of a permanent exit from the Liberty Stadium three years after he was signed for £1.5 million by the Swans.
Mo Barrow
The news has prompted plenty of discussion amongst Leeds fans due to his spell at Elland Road during the second-half of last season.
Barrow joined in January on loan until the end of the campaign, linking up with the manager who brought him to the Premier League in the first place, Garry Monk.
However, the 24-year-old’s spell with the club did not go to plan at all – with the wide-man rarely being given a chance to make an impact, making just five Championship appearances and starting just once.
But there was little call for him to feature more often either, with Barrow failing to make an impression when he was on the pitch.

Unsurprisingly therefore, many of the Leeds fans who have commented on Reading’s move for the Gambia international on Twitter have expressed their surprise at the interest, while some also suggested that it is inevitable and typical that Barrow – who, it must not be forgotten, has shone in the Premier League at times in the past – will make a decisive impact when the two sides meet during the coming campaign.
Here is the best of the reaction…
