Leeds United midfielder Kalvin Phillips is reportedly being monitored by West Bromwich Albion.

Had West Brom offered £10 million for Kalvin Phillips in the summer, there is arguably a good chance that many Leeds supporters would have given their backing to Andrea Radrizzani if he had sold the midfielder.
Phillips was an important part of the Leeds side last season, but the academy graduate was struggling to kick on in the same way that many expected Ronaldo Vieira to.
But Marcelo Bielsa clearly saw something in the 23-year-old as he has arguably looked a completely different player this season. Phillips is, in many people’s eyes, more important to the balance of the team than any other member of the squad.
So it is not difficult to understand why plenty of Leeds fans have been left perplexed after a report from The Sun on Sunday (09/12; page 57) suggested that West Brom were eyeing a move for Phillips next summer.

The report suggested that the Baggies are fans of the £10 million-rated youngster, but would need to be promoted and for Leeds to remain in the Championship to stand a chance of getting a deal done.
Several of the Elland Road faithful on social media cannot understand why Phillips would want to swap Leeds for West Brom after having such a stunning season in Bielsa’s side.

Nor can some of the supporters get their head around the idea that Leeds would be happy to sell Phillips for just £10 million as many feel that he should be worth significantly more.
Here is what some of the Leeds supporters make of the links with the Baggies…
