Leeds United are looking to sign a winger before Monday’s transfer deadline – and they seem to have found one.
A host of wide men have been linked with Leeds in recent weeks, and it’s now Rennes winger Raphinha being eyed for a move.
Ouest-France report that Leeds have offered a deal totalling €23million, which is €17million (£15.4million) up front and €6million (£5.4million) in add-ons.
Rennes have now allegedly accepted that bid, having agreed to sign Anderlecht wonderkid Jeremy Doku as his replacement.
Still, Raphinha was named in the Rennes side today, as they took on Reims at home Ligue 1 in which may be his final game for the club.
If so, then the Brazilian speedster signed off in style, scoring the opening goal in a 2-2 draw before supplying an assist for Damien Da Silva.

Given that the game was shown live on BT Sport, a number of Leeds fans decided to tune in and watch their potential signing – and it’s fair to say they were impressed.
Some called him ‘unreal’, ‘quality’, ‘incredible’ and ‘absolutely mint’ having turned in a superb performance.
Others suggested that Leeds need to get the deal done, and can’t wait to see him arriving at Elland Road as speculation mounts.
