The Midlands outfit now face Fulham in the final, which will be played at Wembley on May 26. Snodgrass is expected to start that game, but it remains to be seen where his long-term future lies.
The 30-year-old has enjoyed a glittering season that has seen him involved in 21 goals in his 42 appearances, scoring eight and laying on an impressive 13 strikes. But he remains a West Ham player, with a permanent deal yet to be seen.
The Daily Mirror claims he earns a huge £60,000 a week at West Ham, and that may mean a permanent move will only be able to occur if Villa gain promotion to the Premier League.
This summer marks the sixth year since Leeds allowed the Scotland international to move to Norwich City in 2012, and Leeds fans reacted to Snodgrass’ performance by revealing their frustration at his sale.
