Leeds United continued their unbeaten start to the season under Marcelo Bielsa on Saturday afternoon as they beat Norwich City 3-0 at Carrow Road.

The Whites drew 2-2 away at Swansea City on Tuesday night, and they were back to winning ways on Saturday afternoon with a superb performance.

Mateusz Klich opened the scoring for the Whites with his third goal in just five games this season, tucking home after Ezgjan Alioski’s header had been saved.

Alioski bagged the second himself, hitting back after being substituted at half time against Swansea, before Pablo Hernandez sealed the victory with the third goal.

Leeds moved back to the top of the Championship table with that victory, and fans have again been hailing manager Bielsa – particularly for his treatment of midfielder Kalvin Phillips.

Phillips has been vital for Bielsa this season, but was substituted inside the first 30 minutes against Swansea after a torrid performance, with some expecting him to be dropped against Norwich.

However, Bielsa put him straight back into the line-up, and the 22-year-old produced the perfect comeback performance, earning huge praise from fans on Twitter.

Some praised Bielsa’s ‘magic’ for his management of Phillips, with others simply hailing the midfielder for a ‘next level’ performance, claiming he was unbelievable and exceptional against the Canaries as he hit back in style.
