Leeds travel to Rodney Parade on Sunday to face Newport County in the FA Cup.

Thomas Christiansen has confirmed on Friday afternoon that he will start Leeds United striker Jay-Roy Grot against League Two side Newport County on Sunday – and fans are keen to back the out-of-form striker on Twitter.
BBC Radio Leeds broadcaster Adam Pope claimed on his Twitter account that Christiansen had confirmed Grot would start the clash, as the Whites look for a repeat of the scoreline between the two sides in the Carabao Cup earlier this season – which ended in a 5-1 win for Leeds.
Grot, a summer signing from Dutch outfit NEC Nijmegen, has failed to impress at Elland Road despite costing a substantial fee of £1.5million. He has featured for a combined 141 minutes in the Championship this season.
The 19-year-old’s last outing saw him come on in the 1-0 win over Norwich for nine minutes, but his introduction was booed by sections of the Leeds support despite being given much playing time to prove himself.

Still in his teenage years, the Netherlands Under-20 international now has the chance to show Leeds fans just what he is capable of by starting against Newport. A goal or two would do the youngster the world of good.
Leeds fans have reacted to Christiansen’s decision to start Grot, with many backing the youngster to go out and impress as well as urging their own fans to get behind the attacker.
But one fan has claimed that starting him would cause a “poisonous atmosphere”.
