The goalkeeper, whose Leeds United contract expires at the end of this month, could be Blackburn Rovers bound.

Leeds fans show their support prior to the Sky Bet Championship Play-off semi final second leg match between Leeds United and Derby County at Elland Road on May 15, 2019 in Leeds, England.

Leeds United fans are reacting after one young Whites player was pictured with their Championship rivals, Blackburn Rovers, with his deal about to expire.

Joshua Rae, the goalkeeper Leeds reportedly fought off competition to sign from Celtic two years ago, will officially leave Elland Road at the end of this month.

But it appears he is already working on securing a new club, after sharing footage of himself in Blackburn and wearing Rovers gear this week.

Rae, who doesn’t turn 19 until later this year, found his opportunities limited at Leeds last season, having had competition from Kamil Miazek, Will Huffer and Harrison Male.

And with all three of those due to stay on beyond the summer, the Scot’s prospects would not have looked much better had he remained at Elland Road.

Nevertheless, having seen him at Blackburn, some Leeds fans aren’t convinced that the right decision was made…

Rae is likely to compete with Andy Fisher to be Blackburn’s third-choice goalkeeper, should he make a permanent move to Ewood Park.
