Leeds and Marcelo Bielsa are in desperate need of a new goalkeeper.

David Stockdale has made the surprise emergency loan switch to League One side Wycombe Wanderers after the club lost two senior goalkeepers to injury – and Leeds fans are fuming that they have not landed the Birmingham City star.
The 33-year-old has plummeted down the pecking order under Garry Monk at Birmingham, failing to make a single appearance this season in any competition for the Blues. He has not even been named on the bench.
Instead, the former Fulham stopper went on loan to Southend as an emergency loan in September in which he played three times, and has now joined Wycombe on a seven-day loan.
That is after Wycombe goalkeepers Ryan Allsop and Yves Ma-Kalambay were both ruled out ahead of Saturday’s clash against Shrewsbury Town. Leeds have been linked with Stockdale in the past.
Indeed, the Whites are now in desperate need of a new goalkeeper after Bailey Peacock-Farrell suffered a knee injury in training, while Jamal Blackman has returned to Chelsea after breaking his leg with the Under-23 side.
Stockdale was mentioned as a possible emergency loan by fans, but his decision to move to Wycombe leaves Leeds in the lurch. Another name, mentioned by the Yorkshire Evening Post, is West Bromwich Albion’s Jonathan Bond.
But Leeds fans cannot understand why Stockdale – who has been widely reported is a Leeds fan – has not been signed to replace Peacock-Farrell and Blackman. Leeds are likely to start either Will Huffer or Kamil Miazek against Bristol City.
