Lamrani is one of Marcelo Bielsa’s key staff members at Leeds United.

Marcelo Bielsa’s trusted interpreter has tweeted a recently-departed Leeds United player who impressed for his country on Monday.
Salim Lamrani quoted a post by the Northern Ireland Football Association about Bailey Peacock-Farrell, the goalkeeper Burnley signed from Leeds for a reported fee of £2.5 million earlier this year.
The Frenchman then added the words: “Bailey « The Wall » Peacock-Farrell” and two ‘Fire’ emojis.
But the message wasn’t exactly well-received by those of a Leeds persuasion, several of whose responses ask questions about Lamrani’s judgement.
This is what they’re saying…
Peacock-Farrell played 41 times for Leeds after joining the Whites’ academy from Middlesbrough.
But he often struggled to convince both fans and management alike, with Kiko Casilla signed to take his place in January.

And with Casilla remaining first-choice at the start of the new campaign, Peacock-Farrell swapped Leeds’ bench for that of Premier League Burnley, with Illan Meslier arriving on loan from Lorient instead.
Leeds fans – was selling Peacock-Farrell the correct call?
