Leeds United were strongly linked with the new Sheffield United recruit.

Oliver Norwood has joined Sheffield United just days after a report claimed he was close to becoming a Leeds United player.
The extent of Leeds’ interest in the midfielder remains to be seen, and only Hull City were mentioned as competitors when Norwood gave his first interview to BBC Radio Sheffield on Monday.
Nevertheless, some Leeds fans can’t help but feel they’ve missed out on Norwood – a player with successive promotions on his CV with Brighton and Hove Albion and Fulham – while others believe an even better signing could be on the horizon.
This is what they’re saying about the 27-year-old, who will move to Bramall Lane in a permanent £2 million deal when his loan spell expires in January…
Bucket and Klich Lover @N4gativeA: Norwood to Sheffield Utd on loan. Absolute ******* **** take we haven’t moved for him on loan. Incredibly short sighted from our hierarchy.
Norwood is not the only Leeds-linked player to rock up at Sheffield United this summer, after John Egan, the former Brentford defender.
That said, the Whites seem to be doing just fine as they are, storming to second in the Championship table after successive victories – three points and 10 places above Sheffield United.

Would the Blades’ new recruit have been a good addition for Leeds?
