The Whites will hope that their centenary season will finish with Premier League football back at Elland Road.

A number of Leeds United fans have taken to Twitter to give their thoughts on the club posting a teaser image for their new away kit ahead of the 2019-20 season.

The kit, which is photographed from the back and is being modelled by summer signing Helder Costa, is dark gray with a bright pink trim, which is a bit of a break from the club’s traditional colours of white, blue and yellow.

In the post, Leeds confirmed that the away kit will be on sale – and presumably fully unveiled – from 9am BST on Thursday morning and, with the first Championship game of the season being away at Bristol City, there is a possibility that they could wear it at Ashton Gate.

The Whites fanbase had their say on social media and reaction was mixed, with some thinking that Leeds should have done something better for their centenary year, while others liked the initial look of it:

Last season, Leeds had a dark blue patterned away kit which was followed by a yellow and blue third kit, and since the Revie days, they have largely stuck to white, yellow and/or blue when it came to away shirt designs, with very few exceptions, as shown by Leeds Live.
