Leeds recorded a superb away win over West Ham on Sunday afternoon as Jack Harrison claimed the headlines with a stunning hat-trick. But Leeds fans have praised Robin Koch, as he continues his comeback from injury.

The 25-year-old started the match in the middle of the park, with Marcelo Bielsa choosing to play Stuart Dallas at right-back and Luke Ayling at centre-back. It was a decision that paid dividends, with Koch starring.

The Germany international clocked up just his third Premier League appearance since a long-standing injury – a hip problem. But he looked as if he had been playing all season, seeing out the entire 90 minutes.

Despite the ever-present inability to defend from set-pieces and the in-form combination of Michail Antonio and Jarrod Bowen, Leeds held on to win 3-2. Harrison, who scored against Burnley, got himself his first ever hat-trick.

But Koch was excellent, that despite picking up a yellow card on 45 minutes. As per WhoScored, Koch managed two clearances, three headers and won two free-kicks. Hardly eye-catching, but his overall display was fantastic.

What are Leeds fans saying about Koch, after West Ham win?

Since his £13million (GOAL) move to Leeds, Koch has only managed to clock up 22 appearances. Indeed, he suffered a knee injury on his debut in a 4-3 loss to Liverpool – eventually needing surgery after a 3-1 defeat to Chelsea.

But when he has played, he has shown why Leeds fans why he is earning £46,000 a week (Spotrac). Composed and efficient on the ball, but aggressive enough to put in a tackle, and his body on the line. Leeds fans praised him.
