Leeds United lost 2-1 away at Norwich City on Saturday afternoon.

Leeds United’s poor 2018 continued on Saturday afternoon as they were beaten 2-1 away at Norwich City in another disappointing performance.
The Whites may have beaten Barnsley for just a third win of 2018 last weekend, but slipped to another loss under Paul Heckingbottom on Saturday afternoon.
Kalvin Phillips struck Leeds in front at Carrow Road, but that’s as good as it got for Leeds as Wes Hoolahan’s deflected effort brought Norwich level.
The hosts grabbed all three points in the second half, as Josh Murphy’s powerful effort almost went through goalkeeper Bailey Peacock-Farrell and into the net.

Leeds now look set to miss out on a top half finish after a promising start to the campaign, and in truth, there hasn’t been much for Leeds to shout about since the turn of the year.
However, the performances of goalkeeper Peacock-Farrell have been largely encouraging, with the 21-year-old brought in from the youth setup by Heckingbottom to replace error-prone Felix Wiedwald.
Fans took to Twitter after his latest display to describe him as ‘different class’, suggesting that the goalkeeper’s shirt is his to lose for next season, even if a veteran competitor is needed.
Others aren’t quite sold yet though and felt that he made another mistake for Norwich’s winner, with some believing that fans are overlooking his errors and forgetting that he isn’t good enough for a team with promotion aspirations yet.
