A lot of Leeds United fans believe one of their star players has hinted that he’s staying.

Leeds United fans on Twitter are begging Kalvin Phillips to stay at Elland Road.

Phillips was part of the Leeds XI which lost to Derby County in their playoff semi-final earlier this week.

Despite leading the race for automatic promotion to the Premier League for so long, the Whites will remain in the Championship.

The United midfielder has been exceptional this past season, arguably the team’s best along with Pablo Hernandez.

And Phillips has said on Twitter that the team will use the ‘pain’ of missing out on promotion as motivation to right that wrong next season.

Being one of the team’s most important players, the 23-year-old could well find himself with offers from Premier League sides this summer.

But fans of the Elland Road have pleaded with him to stay at Leeds – and some believe that his use of the word ‘together’ indicates that he’s going nowhere.
