Leeds United may need to sign some players in January to maintain their promotion push.
Leeds United are currently pushing hard for a play-off spot come May, but they may need to sign some additional players to ensure they are not left disappointed, with a number of teams in the second tier all viable candidates to finish in the top six.
Leeds manager Thomas Christiansen has done well with the players he inherited along with those signed by the club’s director of football Victor Orta, and it will be interesting to see what the Elland Road supremo does next month.
Much will depend on how much money is available to him, with Leeds owner Andrea Radrizzani holding the purse strings and fully aware of the importance of returning to the top flight as soon as possible.
Leeds certainly need more strength in key areas, with another centre-back, an out-and-out left-back and a prolific forward all potentially on their shopping list.
The likes of Samu Saiz and Ezgjan Alioski has quickly proved their worth at Elland Road, while fan favourites Ronaldo Vieira and Gaetano Berardi continue to impress. However it would be no surprise if a few more players arrived in a bid to push the club over the line.
