Burnley have agreed a fee with Leeds United for Charlie Taylor’s transfer and may Whites fans want it reinvested in one man.
Burnley have agreed a fee with Leeds United for the transfer of Charlie Taylor, avoiding a tribunal hearing going ahead.
As is commonplace, neither club have opted to disclose the fee paid for the 23-year-old, who became a Burnley player at the start of this month after his Leeds deal expired.

Some estimates suggest it could be as high as £7 million, however, which many believe should be reinvested in Thomas Christiansen’s squad – if it hasn’t already.
And while the names of Aden Flint, Joe Bryan (both Bristol City) and Luke Garbutt (Everton) have been mentioned by a handful of Leeds fans on Twitter, there’s one player in particular who most seem to want at Elland Road next season…
That man, Swansea City’s Kyle Bartley, spent last season on loan to Leeds, forming a formidable centre-back partnership with Pontus Jansson.
His performances in West Yorkshire are said to have attracted interest from several Premier League and Championship clubs this summer – with Leeds understood to be one – and he is available for £7.5 million according to The Mirror.
But, as some have pointed out, the Whites could struggle to convince Bartley back to Elland Road after parting company with Garry Monk, the defender’s former teammate and manager at Swansea.
How should Leeds spend the Taylor money – again, if they haven’t already?
