Leeds United fans had their say on Nottingham Forest defeat.
Nottingham Forest were furious at the weekend after Kemar Roofe scored a late equaliser for Leeds with his hand.
Roofe’s lack of remorse after the game in a post-match interview only served to wind fans up further, with some Forest supporters calling for him to face a ban.
Forest legend Kenny Burns went a step further, telling the Nottingham Post he expected Leeds to choke in their promotion race.
So Leeds fans were amused to see Forest crash out of the Carabao Cup last night at the hands of League One side Burton Albion.
Forest rotated their starting side and paid the price, missing out on a quarter final spot.
Nigel Clough’s side won 3-2, with Forest netting a late consolation.
It was a missed opportunity for Forest, after knocking out Newcastle in a previous round to get here.
Leeds had lost in an earlier round to Preston.
Whites fans have long forgotten that defeat, and revelled in poking fun at Forest after the weekend…
