The Englishman has said that he gets all the hype over the Portugal international forward returning to the Premier League.
However, Cundy has added that he hopes that the former Real Madrid and Juventus star fails at Old Trafford.
Former Leeds star Bridges has told Cundy on Twitter that the Elland Road faithful will love him for his comments about Ronaldo.

Because Leeds and United are bitter rivals, and no Whites fan ever wants to see the Manchester club succeed.
Ronaldo returned to United in the summer transfer window after leaving Juventus.
The 36-year-old could make his second debut for United this weekend.
