The Whites will face the Red Devils at Perth’s Optus Stadium this week in a highly anticipated pre-season friendly for Elland Road and Old Trafford fans alike.

A number of Leeds United fans have taken to Twitter to comment on the announcement that the highly anticipated pre-season friendly against Manchester United will be shown on LUTV.
The game between the Whites and the Red Devils takes place at the Optus Stadium in the Australian city of Perth on Wednesday 17 July, 12pm BST.
As stated on the Leeds website, Man United hold the television rights for the fixture, but the Whites have purchased a feed in order to show the game live on LUTV.
The Yorkshire club also stated that, due to the broadcasting restrictions in place on the fixture, supporters need to be aware that the live match coverage will carry MUTV branding.
However, the main thing that a number of fans were unhappy with regarding the announcement the price of match passes, costing £7.99.
Several supporters made their feelings known on the social media platform:
Following the friendly between Leeds and Man United, Marcelo Bielsa’s charges will head to Sydney to face Western Sydney Wanderers at the Bankwest Stadium on Saturday 20 July (official Leeds website).
