The winger has not played for Leeds in over a month.
Leeds United fans have been left somewhat confused after it was announced that Stuart Dallas had been included in Northern Ireland’s squad for the upcoming international break.
Leeds’ Stuart Dallas
While it would normally surprise very few to see Dallas’ name amongst Michael O’Neill’s squad, the fact that he has been included for the World Cup qualifier against Azerbaijan and friendly with Croatia some ruffled some feathers amongst the Elland Road faithful.
That is because the 25-year-old has not played for the Whites since their win over Barnsley at the very start of October as he sustained a calf injury while on international duty last month (via Yorkshire Evening Post).
Dallas in action for Northern Ireland
The Yorkshire Evening Post reports that Leeds boss Garry Monk rated him as being 50-50 for the game against Burton Albion last weekend, so there is arguably still some possibility that he will not be ready to feature in the final clash before the break, which comes against Norwich City on Saturday.
Although Dallas struggled during the early stages of the campaign, he had beginning to find some much more promising form in the weeks before he sustained the injury.

Unsurprisingly therefore, Leeds fans have expressed their concern about the winger’s call-up, perhaps due to the fear that O’Neill may be much more inclined to rush him back before he is ready.
