Some Leeds United fans have taken to Twitter to give their reaction to speculation that Kiko Casilla is leaving Elland Road.

What’s the story?

According to The Mirror, Casilla is leaving Leeds for Spanish club Elche.

The former Real Madrid goalkeeper will join Elche on a season-long loan deal from the Whites.

The 34-year-old wants to play regular first-team football and does not want to spend another season warming the substitutes’ bench.

The Spaniard is behind Illan Meslier in the pecking order at Leeds at the moment.

What are Leeds United fans saying?

As you can see from the tweets below, Leeds fans are not fussed that Casilla will leave.

Well, some of them anyway.

The goalkeeper joined Leeds in January 2019 on a free transfer after leaving Madrid.

The Spaniard did well initially, but Leeds fans will remember his howler against Derby County in the Championship.

Meslier has established himself as the first-choice goalkeeper at Leeds now.

The Frenchman is going to stay as the number one between the posts, and Casilla is unlikely to get much playing time next season, if he stays at Leeds.
