Leeds posted about their homegrown hero on their Twitter account and the Whites fans showed their love and urged the club never to let him go.

A number of Leeds United fans have taken to Twitter to praise Kalvin Phillips for attending the end-of-season presentation day of local youth football club Beeston Juniors FC, much to the surprise of the kids and parents.
The Whites official Twitter account posted picture of the 23-year-old posing for photos with the youngsters at the event at Elland Road, as well as retweeting some other pictures from the Beeston Juniors feed:
As fan favourites go, Phillips is right up top within the Leeds fanbase, being a very talented local lad, born in the city, came through the ranks at Elland Road and being thoroughly impressive in the Whites’ first team, and that’s before factoring in the fact he’s a kind-hearted, selfless person who engages with the community.
Some Leeds fans commented on the picture urging the club not to let him go, amid reports which linked the midfielder to Aston Villa (The Express):
It had been reported that Villa made an offer of £14million for Phillips, but Leeds turned it down as they value the central midfielder at £28million.
Given how appreciated the player is amongst the community, the Whites really ought to consider additional factors other than money when it comes to his future, as fans would likely take it badly were he to leave, especially given how the team really is on the cusp of something great.
