Are Leeds United about to sell Pontus Jansson over the coming days?

Leeds United fans on Twitter aren’t happy about the rumour involving Pontus Jansson – but primarily it’s the fee that’s causing outrage.
Former Yorkshire Evening Post journalist Phil Hay revealed today that Leeds have had a £5.5 million offer for the Sweden international.
Hay added that United could finalise the sale, to a fellow English club no less, by Monday.
Jansson is a popular figure among fans of the Elland Road club for his passion and no-nonsense defending, though some of his performances last season frustrated a section of supporters.
Team Talk reported only a year ago that the 28-year-old was a £12 million centre-back, and suffice to say that some fans are upset at the prospect of getting less than that.
Some of the fans are spot-on.
This is a 28-year-old with 20 international caps under his belt. If Leeds only get £5.5 million, it’s a bit of a disaster from a business perspective, especially if he goes to another English club.
The former Torino defender originally joined the Whites under Garry Monk three years ago and has since established himself as one of the club’s best and most-loved players.
